IGNITION AND CONTROLS: Buck Stove's gas logs feature a reliable standing pilot millivolt ignition system. Remote ready millivolt ignition systems are more sophisticated than a manual safety pilot in that they are capable of using a remote control, thermostat, or a switch to operate the burner of the gas log set. Millivolt systems are extremely reliable and have been used for many, many years with gas fireplace products. The pilot assembly also features a safety feature that will shut the appliance off should the pilot light go out or if their is an air to fuel ratio issue.
