This unit can be customized in a variety of ways to meet the needs of your installation. With extensive color options, your fire pit can easily be matched to your outdoor decor or personal tastes. The optional All-Weather Electronic Ignition System (AWEIS) features a reliable blend of technology and components to offer a simple and quick ignition for the gas fire feature. This AWEIS unit can be purchased in 24 VAC or 30 VDC options. Additionally, the 30 VDC models have the option of being purchased with an 185-watt power supply, a 320-watt power supply or no power supply for an even greater level of flexibility. Finally, these units can be purchased for either natural gas or propane installations.

Note: Fire media is sold separately. No lava rock or fire glass is included with this product. Additionally, this bowl does not include a key valve hole, but a hole can be added for a nominal fee. Please call to request a drilled key valve hole if needed.

If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at sales@generationecostore.com

No Shipping outside the USA. (Some exceptions apply - if the website permits you to check out and enter your shipping address, you will receive your order. Some products in particular are available in Canada).

Our base "Curb-side" Pickup shipping is always completely free! This option usually takes between 5-15 days to arrive at your doorstep, after you have submitted your order.

Threshold Shipping: This involves the item being brought onto your porch, or into a sheltered/garage area.

To ensure that your package is properly delivered and that you receive your package within the time frames we advertise, please
make sure that your address is correctly entered and includes all relevant and/or required information. The use of correct
abbreviations, street numbers, building or apartment numbers, and route information (if applicable) is critical for ensuring
timely delivery. We do not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address information
provided is incorrect or incorrectly entered at the time of purchase.

Damages

Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage, you should make note of it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) do arrived damaged please send photos of damage, box and SKU, along with a brief description of the damage to info@generationecostore.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. Photos and videos must be sent for freight damage within 24 hours of arrival or the freight damage claim will not be valid. Any punctures, or visible signs of exterior damage must be reported within 24 hours.

Fire by Design Warranty

Commercial Applications will be covered under warranty for 1 year at 100%, and Residential Applications will be covered under warranty for 3 years at 100% provided the product has not been modified, abused, misused; or improperly installed, maintained, and/or repaired during such period. Fire by Design Inc, at its discretion, will either repair or replace the defective product. Natural aging of finishes is expected; therefore, these changes in patina over time are not considered defects. The Original purchasing information such as an invoice, or product serial number is required on all warranty returns.

Does Fire by Design work directly with Homeowners?

No, Fire by Design does not work directly with homeowners. Due to the complex and potentially hazardous nature of these systems, it is always recommended to have a licensed professional involved in every step. This approach ensures a safer, more reliable installation, protecting both the user and the equipment. Professional installation also often complies with local building codes, preventing issues related to insurance or liability.

What makes your Electronic Ignition System better than the rest?

Technology: Fire by Design’s Electronic Ignition System is the only one specifically designed for the challenges of outdoor use. Competing systems, using adapted indoor components, often struggle with wind, rain, and other elements. These indoor-oriented systems can quickly become inoperable under adverse outdoor conditions. Our system, however, is engineered to withstand wind speeds over 55 mph and can even remain submerged without damage, maintaining reliability.

Compact Size: The AWEIS (All Weather Electronic Ignition System) measures a compact 4.25” square by 4” tall, fitting easily in various setups. For smaller features, our Vulcan Fire Module is just 2.5” in diameter and 6.5” tall, making installation flexible for spaces of different dimensions.

Can I power your AWEIS through an Automated Pool Controller such as an Aqualink?

Yes, our system is compatible with pool controllers like Aqualink, a popular choice for many clients. For multiple features, connect each feature’s transformer to one relay to allow synchronized operation. Using these connections provides seamless control and integration with your existing pool and outdoor ambiance setup.

How do I control two fire features independently with an Aqualink or similar system?

To control multiple fire features separately, use dedicated relays within the pool controller, assigning one to each feature. This approach allows for individual activation, offering flexibility and a custom experience in managing multiple fire displays.

Is there an alternative to using an Aqualink for remote control of fire features?

If you lack an Aqualink or similar setup, our Remote Control System provides an accessible alternative, offering convenient handheld control over fire features. This system is user-friendly and a great choice for those seeking standalone, manual control options.

Can one AWEIS power two different fire features?

No, each AWEIS unit supports only one fire feature. The unit’s heat sensor monitors the presence of flame, a critical safety feature, but only allows for single-feature monitoring, ensuring consistent and accurate readings.

What if the fire feature flame is blown out by wind?

If the flame is extinguished by wind, the system detects this and temporarily shuts down, reigniting within approximately 15 seconds. This automatic reignition feature enhances safety while maintaining continuous operation.

Is a Manual Gas Shutoff required with your system?

Yes, building codes mandate a Manual Shutoff within 6’ of any fire feature. This provides a backup method to shut off gas in the event of a malfunction and offers manual flame height adjustment, enhancing both control and safety.

Does the Manual Gas Shutoff need to be turned off after system shutdown?

No, the system’s dual gas valves ensure gas flow stops when power is off. The Manual Shutoff is only necessary if a leak is suspected, providing a crucial safety feature for unexpected situations.

Can one 24v Transformer power multiple Ignition Systems?

Yes, for specific products. For our Tiki Torches and Vulcan Fire Modules, a 75 VA transformer supports two features. For AWEIS, each system needs a dedicated 50 VA transformer for optimal performance and safety.

Can multiple fire features share one set of wires?

Yes, but limit this to three fire features on a single ‘home run’ set of wires. Using 12-gauge wire ensures sufficient current for all connected features. Adding more than three features can compromise performance, leading to operational issues.

What gauge wire is recommended for Electronic Ignition Systems?

We recommend using 12-gauge wire for all installations. This ensures safe, reliable power transmission for your fire features, supporting stable operation even in harsh conditions.
