IGNITION AND CONTROLS: Buck Stove's gas logs feature a reliable standing pilot millivolt ignition system. Remote ready millivolt ignition systems are more sophisticated than a manual safety pilot in that they are capable of using a remote control, thermostat, or a switch to operate the burner of the gas log set. Millivolt systems are extremely reliable and have been used for many, many years with gas fireplace products. The pilot assembly also features a safety feature that will shut the appliance off should the pilot light go out or if their is an air to fuel ratio issue.

VENTLESS GAS APPLIANCES
Vent free appliances burn gas and air at just the right ratio to where they burn the fuel 99.9% efficiently. This high efficiency makes them great supplemental heating appliances. Not having to install a venting system makes them an affordable than vented appliances. Vent free appliances have to pass national safety standards. Ventless burner technology is available in built in fireplaces, freestanding Stoves, gas logs, and gas inserts for an existing fireplace.
